Pertagas Start Porong – Grati Gas Pipeline

Jakarta, PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas) has been starting for groundbreaking construction of Porong – Grati Pipes in East Java. These 18 inches diameters Pipes will be spreading over 56 kilometers.

CEO of Pertagas Hendra Spoken in Press Release, Monday (19/1) “Porong-Grati segment pipes will provide future connection and give chance for many kind of industries along pipeline to utilize Gas and give abilities for community to access the gas.”

Pertagas predicted these construction will be commissioning on third quarter of this year.

These pipeline project will be across 2 regencies in East Java, Sidoarjo and Pasuruan and will be use open access concept. The gas capacities 122 MMSCFD and set Porong as starting point.

Meanwhile Kepala Dinas Koperasi, UKM, Perindustrian, Perdagangan, Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM), Fenny Apridawati give full appreciation and support from Sidoarjo local government for this project. She hopes Indonesia will be have strong energy availability and also give gas access for Industry in Sidoarjo.
